Newsom Eye is currently seeking an Ophthalmic Technician. Looking for an energetic team player with an interest in patient care and customer service. Duties include but not limited to; visual acuity measurements, recording medical and surgical histories, administering ocular medications, performing refractometry, providing patient education, assessing intraocular pressure, testing pupils, ophthalmic diagnostics testing, assisting physicians during eye examinations. Must be reliable and pass a background check. No weekends. Benefits offered. The fast-paced environment requires a dynamic personality with a strong emphasis on working as a great team member.
