Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and food safety standards to answer guest questions confidently
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and sanitation tasks to support smooth restaurant operations
- Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities without pressure
- Experience with OpenTable reservations management is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and processing transactions accurately
