Position Overview
Graphic House is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Sign Designer to develop custom sign concepts and customer presentations for a wide variety of commercial projects. This position is responsible for transforming ideas into visually compelling sign designs while working closely with our sales, project management, and drafting departments.
The Sign Designer focuses on the creative design of each project. Once designs are approved, our drafting team prepares the detailed production drawings used for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
· Create creative concepts and designs for custom interior and exterior signage.
· Design customer presentations, renderings, layouts, and artwork for client approval.
· Collaborate with the sales team to develop signage solutions that meet customer goals and budgets.
· Work with project managers to ensure designs are complete and ready for production.
· Coordinate with the drafting department to communicate design intent and project details for production drawings.
· Apply knowledge of sign materials, construction methods, and manufacturing capabilities to create practical, buildable designs.
· Revise artwork and designs based on customer feedback and project requirements.
· Ensure all designs meet company quality standards and brand expectations.
· Stay current on design trends, materials, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
· Associate degree, technical diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Environmental Design, or a related field.
· Experience designing custom signage, architectural graphics, branded environments, or similar products is preferred.
· Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and design ability.
· Proficiency with CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp, Inventor, or similar design software.
· Ability to communicate design ideas clearly to both customers and internal teams.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Knowledge of sign fabrication and manufacturing processes is a plus.

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
