Capitol is looking for a full time project manager/estimator to look for projects and create cost proposals for commercial, multifamily, tenant improvement projects. Capitol is only looking for people that have past experience in this position. Minimum of 3-4 years experience. Able to handle a project from start to finish. From estimating, submittals, RFI's, closeouts, project management, material ordering, etc. Growing Flooring company in Bay Area, and all of Northern California. If you do not have Flooring/Tile experience please do not apply.
-Able to do quantity takeoffs using Measuresquare
-Creating cost analysis for each project
-Contacting vendors for pricing to assure the best price
-Willing to communicate with General Contractors, Owners, Developers, Property Management executives
-Knowledge in all fields including (Carpet, Vinyl, LVT, Tile, Wall Tile, Hardwood, Polished Concrete, Epoxy)
Position will come with salary plus commission.
-Knowledge in prevailing wage requirements for commercial projects
-Knowledge in product data, submittals.
-Conduct scheduling and job walks when necessary
-Maintain relationship with installation team and manage projects from start to finish
-Experienced in flooring, construction is a plus
-Knowledge in reading blueprints
