Looking for a PT PCA in Mound in western Hennepin to work 20 hours, 4 to 5 mornings a week.
I (61, bedbound, late diagnosed auADHD) need someone to compassionately and patiently help with cuing (assist with remembering, starting, and staying on task), simple meal prep, light housekeeping, and organization.
Also, on FT PCAs days off, will help with personal cares such as bed baths and incontinence care (2 - 3x/week.)
There is no/minimal lifting. Some light/moderate effort (pushing/pulling/stretching) would be needed.
Someone with patience, good communication skills, eagerness to help, and especially a sense of humor are highly desired.
Familiarity with neurodiversity is a plus.
Will be paid at least $20/hr through the Best Care agency which requires a background check.
A PCA certificate is also required - having one already is preferred but it can be done online.
