Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and tidying up client's living space
- Prepare and cook meals according to client's dietary needs and preferences
- Assist with grocery shopping and running errands
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client's condition and progress
- Follow infection control procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Experience:
Previous experience as for 1 year as an Aide under a supervision of a LPN or RN
75 hrs (2 weeks) of training at a training site
STNA Credentials or LPN
Familiarity with medical documentation systems is a plus
Ability to handle elderly clients with compassion and patience
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
