Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, friendly environment. In this role, you will support Endodontist's by preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. You will take xrays, send electrontic presriptions for the doctor, and do the doctors treatment notes. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every patient while maintaining clinical excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the field of Specialized Endodontic Dentistry, dental imaging, and patient management.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures
- Assist doctors during Root canal procedures with precision and professionalism
- Take dental x-rays & CT scans using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners and digital radiography systems
- Manage patient care using electronic medical record (EMR) system - EndoVision while adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality
- Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow efficiency and patient comfort
- Conduct vital signs assessments and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care with mild sedation cases
- Follow strict infection prevention management protocols including dental sterilization procedures, aseptic techniques, and infection control policies
- Record the doctors clinical anayysis and write naratives for each patient
- Send in the doctors prescriptions electronically
Skills
- Familiarity with Dental software prefered
- Some knowledge of dental terminology in the discipline of endodontics
- Experience with dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, and infection prevention standards
- Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray units, intraoral cameras, 3D scanners, and other diagnostic tools - preferred
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively and empathetically with patients of all ages
- Familiarity with healthcare infection control practices and clinical confidentiality policies to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
