Universal Academy of Columbus (UAC) is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Third Grade Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid Ohio teaching license or the ability to obtain appropriate Ohio licensure before employment begins.
- Previous elementary teaching experience (experience teaching grades K–5 preferred).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, students, and families.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons aligned with Ohio Learning Standards.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
- Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement.
- Maintain compliance with all school policies and Ohio Department of Education and Workforce requirements.
