Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Colorado or eligibility through compact licensure
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Strong communication and documentation skills
Passion for delivering high-quality, resident-centered care
Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
Complete accurate and timely documentation of resident care and progress
Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, function, and overall quality of life
Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Follow all state and federal regulations governing therapy services
Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and professional standards
Promote resident independence, safety, and successful rehabilitation outcomes
