- Process sales transactions efficiently using cash handling and cashiering skills
- Maintain accurate cash management and perform cash register operations with attention to detail
- Support banking activities such as deposits, withdrawals, and balancing cash drawers at the end of shifts
- Utilize retail math and basic math skills to calculate discounts, totals, and change accurately
- Provide information about store products, services, and financial options like loans or payment plans when applicable
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments
- Knowledge of banking procedures, cash handling, and cash management techniques
- Familiarity with financial software and point-of-sale systems for transaction processing
- Strong math skills including retail math, basic math calculations, and 10-key typing proficiency
- Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse customers effectively
- Ability to perform loan processing tasks or assist with financial services as needed
- Demonstrated ability to manage cash registers accurately and handle cashiers’ responsibilities confidently
