Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling, cashiering, and product inquiries
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card payments
- Conduct product demos and upsell items such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to enhance customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness of the station, including pumps, store shelves, and surrounding areas
- Restock merchandise, stock shelves, and ensure proper merchandising to attract customers
- Manage inventory levels by stocking supplies and conducting basic inventory checks
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when needed
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures
- Supervising experience or ability to oversee station operations during shifts
- Ability to perform retail math for sales transactions and inventory management
- Strong communication skills in both bilingual settings (if applicable) and clear verbal interaction with customers
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining friendly rapport
- Knowledge of grocery store or retail sales environments preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing stock levels
- Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette skills
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos to engage customers effectively
