We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Certified Welder to join our team. In this role, you will read blueprints, prepare metals, and perform high-quality structural and shop welds using multiple processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals (steel, aluminum, stainless steel) according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, engineering drawings, and job specs.
- Inspect, fit, measure, and assemble fabricated metal components prior to welding.
- Conduct post-weld inspections to ensure standard compliance, clean welds, and structural integrity.
- Maintain equipment, perform routine maintenance, and strictly follow all OSHA safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- Certification: Valid AWS (or equivalent state/industry) Welding Certification required.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional structural or industrial welding experience.
- Technical: Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and applying weld symbols accurately.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in shop or field environments.
- Traits: Strong attention to safety, quality control, and dependable punctuality.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
