American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week evening shift assignment at a Level II Trauma teaching hospital, requiring 1+ years of experience and ARRT-R certification.

Acute care hospital setting with adult acute care, outpatient, emergency department, and ICU patient populations
-
Level II Trauma Center
-
Evening shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
-
No weekend requirement
-
No on-call requirement
-
May float to an affiliate hospital campus as needed to meet facility needs
-
Open to block scheduling
-
Uses Epic (Excellian) EMR and PACS with Siemens equipment
-
Performs CT imaging including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest studies
-
Special procedures may include aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, drainage, myelography, PET CT, and vascular CTA
-
Minimum of 1 year experience in CT Tech specialty required

Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
-
Community hospital experience preferred
-
BLS and ARRT-R certifications required

License required if applicable
-
Epic/Excellian charting experience required

Proficiency in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
-
Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
-
Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
-
Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE

Previous travel experience required
-
First-time travelers not accepted

Grey scrub color required

Candidates must be gone at least 3 months from their last shift if previously worked as a Perm (Staff or Per Diem) employee

RTO ideally should not exceed 5 days during the assignment

Local candidates accepted for this radiology position without radius restriction
