Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development tailored to preschool-aged children.
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that promote respectful interactions and cooperation.
- Support child development by providing age-appropriate activities that enhance literacy education, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional growth.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and collaborate on supporting each child's learning journey.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor growth and inform instruction.
- Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining first aid and CPR certifications, and following child welfare protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan engaging activities that incorporate Montessori principles or other educational philosophies as appropriate for the classroom.
Requirements MUST HAVE 12 UNITS IN EARLY CHILDHOOS EDUCATION (ECE)
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; classroom experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education needs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively while implementing lesson plans that promote active learning.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is preferred.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques, classroom management strategies, and working within mandated reporting laws.
