Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid Illinois SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; open to candidates in CFY
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
- Strong teletherapy skills or willingness to learn remote therapy techniques
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working with diverse students from preschool through high school
- Compassionate, proactive, and eager to contribute to student success
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication challenges
- Deliver direct speech-language services, both in-person and via teletherapy platforms as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support planning
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech-language development
