Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing high-quality concrete finishing and related labor tasks on diverse construction projects. Responsibilities
- Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, leveling, and texturing freshly poured concrete to meet project specifications.
- Assist with concrete pouring, mixing, and placement using power tools and concrete mixers.
- Install rebar (reinforcing steel) according to blueprints and technical drawings to reinforce concrete structures.
- Construct formwork and molds for concrete pours, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
- Operate heavy equipment such as concrete pumps, mixers, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute project requirements.
- Conduct site preparation activities including heavy lifting, demolition cleanup, and material handling while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Perform masonry, stucco, caulking, trim carpentry, and other related tasks to support renovation or restoration projects.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing concrete surfaces or related materials.
- Follow construction safety regulations diligently by maintaining OSHA 30 certification standards at all times.
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete finishing or laboring roles is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical systems related to construction equipment operation.
- Familiarity with interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans.
- Hands-on experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete pouring/finishing, and masonry work.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including OSHA standards (OSHA 30 certification preferred).
- Experience with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or cranes is a plus but not required.
- Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when needed in diverse weather conditions.

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
