JOB OVERVIEW The Customer Service Associate (Driver) is responsible for catering aircraft and transporting meals/beverage/equipment to assign flights. RESPONSIBILITIES • Gather all necessary equipment for assigned flights. • Verify flights documentation to ensure correct items are loaded before heading to ramp. • Interact with other Customer Service team members to identify and resolve problems.
- Interface with flight attendants and provide excellent customer service. • Comply with all operating and safety procedures regarding driving, positioning the unit at the planes, securing the work platform, loading and unloading carts on and off the planes. • Dispose of domestic and international trash based on CBP regulated guidelines. • Must have the ability to follow direction, meet tight deadlines, and interact/communicate with vendor airline crew as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS • Must have a Commercial Drivers License (Class A or B) • Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays. • Work overtime when required. • Ability to speak, read and understand English. • Comply with all work rules and regulations.
- Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure. • Able to pass a basic written test. • Ability to handle dry ice • Pass a DOT Pre-Employment Physical test. • Pass a criminal background and an airport /TSA background check.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required. ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift of 8+ hours. • Must be able to lift and push up to 50+ lbs • Must be able to use fingers/hands to handle equipment • Will be exposed to various temperature changes (hot and cold) and noise. • This position requires to be active, walking, and intense physical activity.
