Position Responsibilities
- Work closely with Project Manager to assist in the smooth project execution and successful delivery of electrical projects.
- Assisting with the coordination and scheduling of electrical work to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintaining project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Tracking project milestones and preparing status reports for senior management.
- Serving as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Ensuring clear and timely communication to address issues and keep all parties informed.
- Assisting with budget tracking and cost control, including monitoring expenses and helping to manage project finances.
- Occasionally visiting job sites to monitor progress, verify work quality, and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
Here’s What We’re Looking For
- Experience managing low voltage installations not limited to ARCS, CCTV, access control, fiber, data, AV, micro-ducts, DAS, and telecom
- Ability to lead highly technical projects involving critical life safety systems (FDNY ARCS radio systems)
- Strong computer knowledge to apply the project management requirements
- Need Strong communication with field teams, stakeholders, and clients
- 5+ years of construction experience, specifically in electrical systems.
- Must be willing to work on-site
- Experience or exposure to Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and estimating software, preferably Accubid
- Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Strong knowledge with NEC
- Basic knowledge of electrical installations
- Experience with complex Design-Build projects
- Ability to multitask in a high volume, fast-paced work environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and efficient
