At Liberty Village of Peru we are looking for a self-motivated, fun, social individual to join our new team! We are seeking a part-time Activity Aide with the desire to promote independence, encourage socialization and enhance the overall sense of wellbeing for our residents. Average hours per week would be 20-24, shift hours M-F 2pm-8pm or 4pm-8pm & every other weekend 8:30am-5pm.
Primary Responsibilities of an Activity Aide:
1. Promote social engagement through a meaningful program of activities designed for individuals with memory impairment.
2. Enhance the self-esteem and overall sense of wellbeing of the residents.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: No formal experience required. We desire an individual with a willingness to learn on the job.
Activity Aide Requirements: Current driver’s license.
