Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our company. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, and other aggregate materials to various job sites and disposal locations. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Duties
- Safely operate dump trucks transporting aggregate materials.
- Follow planned routes accurately while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations; communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules or route changes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues; report any concerns promptly.
- Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records for compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations on job sites and adhere to all safety protocols during loading, unloading, and driving activities.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Clean driving record with a focus on safety and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
- Physical ability to perform vehicle inspections.
Pay: From $28.50 per hour
