Summary
The Garbage Truck (TGT) is a food truck owned by a Rochester, NY native. Taking the legendary Rochester “Trash Plate” coast to coast, we are now serving on trucks in both Los Angeles, CA and Charlotte, NC. Along with the trash plate, TGT serves all- American foods with it’s own special twist.
We’re looking to hire a Cook for BOTH our Charlotte, NC based food truck and our Take out Location The Garbage Can. This person must have experience in preparing and serving food. We love to have fun while we’re on the truck, so we’re looking for someone fun and personable to come join our team.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve food
Support other staff members and their positions
Help clean and maintain truck and equipment (pre and post service shifts)
Track inventory of truck and report to Manager (including serving materials, general cleaning supplies, and food for service)
Represent The Garbage Truck brand in a responsible manner
Requirements
Ability to learn and perform all positions on the truck
Prior experience working in the food service industry
Willing to work late night hours (often until 3am on Friday and Saturday nights) and weekends
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while maintaining high quality service
Willing to get Food Safe Certificate (if you do not already have one)
Reliable transportation
Salary is based on experience
