General Manager, Dispatch Manager
Work Hours:
7:30 – 4:30, with a minimal 30-minute uninterrupted meal break, Monday - Friday, some weeknights, and weekends. This position regularly requires overtime due to the nature of the business.
Pay Scale:
$20.00-$24.00 Plus Commissionable Opportunities (up to 10%)
Primary Job Function:
Diagnose, repair, and inspect residential plumbing systems top to bottom and lead customers to informed, confident buying decisions with exceptional 5 Star Service and Guarantee.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- 1-4 Years of Experience
- Show willingness to invest in tools used in the service of trade (APSR has a tool purchase plan in place to assist with acquiring the needed tools)
- Show willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes
- Pass background check and Drug test
- Dependability and positive attitude
- Time management skills & motivational skills required.
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Attention to detail
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Minimal experience with drain snaking
- Enthusiastic, customer-service oriented
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Must comply with all policies, procedures & safety standards
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Expectations:
- Arrive at scheduled time
- Keeps dispatchers updated throughout the day
- Accurately completed a dispatch debrief on every job
- Operate company vehicle responsibly
- Respond to work related phone calls, text messages, and emails during business and on-call hours except while operating vehicle
- Follows instructions from supervisor and/or dispatcher
- Report problems with company tools or vehicles in a timely manner
- Ensure all customers have information regarding monthly Membership plans
- Learn the benefits and guidelines of the monthly Membership Plan
- Enroll customers in monthly service partner plan
- Educate customers on repair vs. replacement options
- Develop basic knowledge of service and testing tools
- Develop customer service skills
- Walk customers through financing options
- Transition from jobsite to jobsite during workday
- Communicate effectively with customers
- Collect signatures and payments from customers at time of service
- Ability to work staggered schedule and later shift if required
- Always maintain professional appearance and attitude
- Complete and turn in all paperwork (job breakdowns, truck reports, receipts, checks, checklists, etc.…) properly and on time
- Navigate through dispatching software (Service Titan) to create estimates and invoices
- Educate customers on additional services and products company offers (ie. Tankless and Water Purification options)
- Provide multiple options
- Develop skills to perform whole home plumbing evaluations and water heater sediment flush or descale
- Ability to perform lead generation and turn over process
- Be able to use and navigate an apple I-Pad
