Position Details
- Location: Shreveport, Louisiana
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: July 27, 2026
- Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
- Shift: Days | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Pay: Up to $56/hour
- Local Pay: $48/hour
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients.
- Operate digital radiography equipment while maintaining image quality and patient safety.
- Assist with fluoroscopy and surgical imaging procedures as needed.
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.
- Verify patient identity and explain imaging procedures.
- Document imaging procedures accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Float between nearby imaging locations when scheduled.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Active ARRT certification.
- Active Louisiana Radiologic Technologist License (LSRTBE) or temporary Louisiana license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience performing general diagnostic radiography.
- Ability to work every other weekend on the required rotating schedule.
- Comfortable participating in on-call coverage (3–4 days per month).
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of diagnostic X-ray experience.
- Fluoroscopy and surgical/C-Arm experience.
- Previous travel experience (first-time travelers are welcome to apply).
- Experience with Meditech EMR.
