Position Summary
As a Floral Designer, you will bring creativity, artistry, and passion to every arrangement. You’ll work closely with customers to design bespoke floral creations, curate seasonal displays, and contribute to the overall aesthetic of the shop. Your role is key in ensuring that every bouquet and arrangement reflects our shop’s unique style and commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
Floral Design & Creativity
- Design and create unique floral arrangements for daily sales, special occasions, weddings, and events.
- Curate floral displays that enhance the store’s visual merchandising and storytelling approach.
- Stay current with floral design trends and bring fresh ideas to the shop.
- Handle custom orders, ensuring each design meets the customer’s vision and expectations.
Customer Experience
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide expert floral recommendations.
- Offer insights on flower care, arrangement longevity, and complementary blooms.
- Contribute to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall customer experience.
Operations & Product Care
- Manage daily flower processing, conditioning, and maintenance to ensure freshness.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering fresh flowers and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized design workspace, prioritizing efficiency and artistry.
- Support store events, workshops, and community initiatives related to floral design.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1 - 2 years of experience in floral design, event floristry, or a related creative field.
- Strong artistic eye and passion for storytelling through flowers.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build meaningful connections.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Basic knowledge of flower care, handling, and color theory.
- Ability to multitask and collaborate with a team.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
Work Location: In person
