Residential Roofing Installation Supervisor
Location: San Diego, CA
Compensation: $120,000-$140K (DOE) Base Salary + Comprehensive Benefits

Our client is one of California's best EPC’s and residential home improvement companies, specializing in roofing, solar, battery storage, and energy-efficient home solutions. They are seeking an experienced Roofing Installation Supervisor to oversee residential roofing operations, manage installation crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with exceptional quality.

Responsibilities
- Supervise daily residential roofing installation projects throughout Southern California.
- Lead, coach, and support roofing crews and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and productivity.
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and California building codes.
- Conduct site visits before, during, and after installation to verify workmanship, safety, and project progress.
- Coordinate scheduling, materials, equipment, and labor to maintain efficient project timelines.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Operations, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review project scopes, blueprints, permits, and change orders to ensure crews have accurate installation requirements.
- Identify and resolve installation challenges before they impact schedules or customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards, including fall protection protocols.
- Perform quality control inspections and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring work is completed safely, professionally, and according to company expectations.
- Support roof evaluations for upcoming solar installations across multiple roofing systems.
- Ensure company vehicles, tools, equipment, and job site materials are properly maintained and available for daily operations.
- Travel throughout California as business needs require.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residential roofing installation experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading crews, foremen, or installation teams.
- Extensive knowledge of California residential roofing systems, including:
o Asphalt Shingle
o Concrete & Clay Tile
o Composite Roofing
o Low-Slope Roofing
o Other common residential roofing systems
- Strong understanding of California roofing codes, permitting requirements, and industry best practices.
- Experience evaluating roofing systems in preparation for residential solar installations.
- Experience managing subcontractors and maintaining high installation standards.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and fall protection requirements.
- Ability to read blueprints, construction drawings, scopes of work, and manufacturer specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and construction management software.
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout California, including the Bay Area, as needed.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
