We are currently seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities, helping them restore or improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life. This position involves developing personalized care plans and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Evaluate patients to determine mobility issues and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide medically prescribed physical therapy in accordance with physician orders
Perform re-evaluations and adjust care plans as needed
Educate patients and families on therapy goals, techniques, and use of adaptive equipment
Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, Rehab Aides, and students as assigned
Recommend and assist in the use or fabrication of orthotics, prosthetics, and adaptive devices
Maintain timely and accurate documentation including evaluations, daily notes, treatment updates, and discharge summaries
Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds and in-services
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Provide care across a variety of patient populations, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
Travel between departments or locations as required
Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
BLS certification required
Previous experience preferred but not required
Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical skills
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Physical: Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and handling of equipment or patients (20–50 lbs.)
Environment: Clinical setting with exposure to rehabilitation equipment and patient interaction
May involve travel between treatment areas or facilities as needed
