Proto-Town is a place for hardware builders to live and work outside Lockhart, TX. The Community Manager is the connective tissue of pioneer life — the person every resident, guest, and partner encounters first and remembers longest. You own the experience from arrival to departure, the quality of daily life on campus, and the physical and programmatic spaces.
Orient incoming guests and pioneers; maintain arrivals logistics and room assignments
Own the booking system for short-term rooms — intake, scheduling, invoicing, and handoffs
Plan and execute community events: guest speaker series, resident socials, and ad hoc programming
Manage the onsite food program, meal plans, pop ups
Design and maintain common areas, including furniture procurement and layout
Serve as the connective tissue between onsite companies and campus operations; surface resident needs and feedback
Collaborate with construction and leadership on future housing and amenity buildout: scope resident needs, review plans, flag gaps
Maintain campus vendor relationships (cleaning, supplies, F&B, etc.)
