Do you love dogs and enjoy staying active? We're looking for dependable, energetic Dog Handlers who are passionate about animal care and want to be part of a fun, inclusive, and supportive team.
At our daycare, every dog is treated like family. Approximately 90% of your shift will be spent supervising, interacting with, and caring for groups of dogs. While cleaning and sanitizing are important parts of maintaining a safe and healthy environment, your primary responsibility is ensuring every dog has a fun, enriching, and safe experience.
We believe work should be enjoyable! Throughout the year we host themed parties, holiday photo days, birthday celebrations, pool parties, and other fun events for our canine guests.
No previous dog daycare experience? No problem! Experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine love for dogs.
What You'll Do
Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Supervising groups of dogs during playtime
- Monitoring dog behavior and ensuring a safe environment
- Feeding dogs and administering medications as directed
- Providing enrichment, exercise, and plenty of affection
- Cleaning up after dogs throughout the day
- Cleaning kennels, play yards, and common areas
- Basic bathing and grooming
- Working with your team to provide exceptional care for every dog
Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on, physically active position. Applicants should be comfortable:
- Standing and walking for most of the day
- Lifting 50+ pounds
- Working with multiple dogs at once
- Working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels
- Frequently cleaning throughout the day
- Working in a loud, fast-paced environment with lots of barking
- Working indoors and outdoors in all types of weather

Schedule
Dog Handler shifts are typically scheduled between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with occasional adjustments based on business needs. Applicants should be available to work day or evening shifts, weekends, and some holidays.
