Medical Assistant - Pulmonary Medicine
Sierra Nevada Specialty Care is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Pulmonary team. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced providers caring for patients with respiratory and sleep-related conditions in a fast-paced, specialty clinic environment.

What You'll Do
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medication histories, and other clinical information
- Prepare charts and ensure providers have complete and accurate information before appointments
- Assist providers during patient visits and procedures
- Coordinate referrals, imaging, laboratory testing, and specialty consultations
- Respond to patient calls, document messages, and communicate with pharmacies and healthcare facilities
- Process prescription refills under provider direction
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic clinical testing as needed
- Support a positive patient experience through compassionate, professional interactions
What We're Looking For
- Medical Assistant Certification required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Two or more years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
- Ability to thrive in a busy specialty practice

Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and movement throughout the clinic. Occasional travel to satellite clinic locations may be required.

Pay: $20.50 - $28.00 per hour
