We’re looking for a Patient Care Coordinator who brings warmth, organization, and confidence to every interaction.
Someone who doesn’t just manage a schedule, but helps patients feel supported from the very first conversation.

This is a full-time hybrid role (remote position with occasional in-person meetings/events) for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, staying organized, and being part of a team where your work is noticed and your contribution matters.

From the first phone call to ongoing scheduling and follow-up, you’ll help guide patients through their experience with Direct Performance Physical Therapy.
You’ll answer questions, coordinate appointments, maintain accurate information, support billing and insurance processes, and help make sure patients know what comes next.

What You’ll DoPatient Communication & Scheduling
- Respond to patient calls, emails, and questions with professionalism, warmth, and urgency
- Schedule evaluations and follow-up appointments
- Maintain an organized and accurate patient schedule
- Communicate appointment details, clinic policies, and next steps clearly
- Help patients feel supported and confident throughout their care experience
Insurance, Billing & Financial Support
- Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes
- Support billing and collections tasks
- Communicate patient financial information professionally and clearly
- Help maintain accurate account and payment information
EMR & Administrative Operations
- Enter and update patient information accurately in the EMR
- Maintain organized patient records and documentation
- Manage scheduling systems, emails, and other administrative workflows
- Use Google Workspace and other clinic communication systems
- Support daily operations so the clinic and clinical team can stay focused on patient care
Patient Experience & Team Support
- Provide a positive and professional experience during every patient interaction
- Address patient questions and concerns with clarity, kindness, and confidence
- Communicate clinic policies respectfully and consistently
- Help identify problems and find solutions
- Work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, healthcare, customer service, or related role
- Have previous healthcare or front office experience
- Are comfortable communicating with patients by phone, email, and other communication channels
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Are highly organized and detail-oriented
- Can manage scheduling, calls, emails, and multiple priorities without losing focus
- Are comfortable learning and using EMR, scheduling, and practice management software
- Have basic proficiency with Google Workspace or similar tools
- Are reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Can maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Enjoy solving problems and helping systems run smoothly

What’s In It for You
Pay: $16–$18 per hour
Position: Full-Time
Work Setting: Hybrid (remote position with occasional in-person meetings/events)
Schedule: Monday–Friday with approximately 2–3 hours of flexible Sunday coverage. Sunday hours can be scheduled within an agreed-upon time frame. Specific weekday hours are currently being finalized and will be discussed during the interview process.
