Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and delivery vehicles to transport appliances to customer locations efficiently and on schedule
- Unload, deliver, and install appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, and more, ensuring proper setup according to manufacturer specifications
- Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical instructions to facilitate accurate installation and troubleshooting
- Conduct basic appliance repairs or adjustments on-site when needed, including refrigeration systems, HVAC components, or electrical connections
- Assemble appliances and related equipment using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure secure installation
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during each delivery
- Perform routine maintenance checks on delivery equipment and maintain accurate documentation of services performed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical or refrigeration systems
- Service technician experience in appliance repair, HVAC, or related fields highly desirable
- Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration components, and equipment repair techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to lift heavy appliances safely and work physically demanding shifts comfortably
- Valid driver’s license with relevant endorsements; prior delivery driver experience is a plus
