Gem State Staffing is seeking a motivated and professional Staffing Recruiter to join our Burley office. This position is ideal for someone with administrative experience, customer service skills, telemarketing experience, and a passion for helping people find employment opportunities. The Staffing Recruiter plays a key role in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and placing qualified candidates with local employers.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard job applicants.
- Make outbound telemarketing and recruiting calls to potential candidates and prospective clients.
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain applicant records and employee files.
- Assist with job postings on online job boards and social media platforms.
- Coordinate employee dispatches and work assignments.
- Verify employment eligibility and complete onboarding paperwork.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and employees.
- Conduct reference checks and background screening processes.
- Assist with general office administration, data entry, filing, and scheduling.
- Support payroll and timekeeping processes as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative office experience required.
- Telemarketing, sales, recruiting, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, email, and basic computer applications.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced staffing environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Professional phone étiquette and positive attitude.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred Skills
- Staffing agency preferred.
- Recruiting and talent acquisition experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
