Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Carpenter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Commercial Concrete - Tilt-up, Structural, Industrial. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on various projects. As a Concrete Carpenter, you will be involved in all aspects of concrete work, from preparation to finishing, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications.
Duties
- Formwork Construction: Set up and install concrete forms to shape and support the concrete until it hardens. This includes measuring, cutting, and assembling materials like wood and plywood.
- Concrete Mixing and Pouring: Mix, pour, and finish concrete to create structures such as sidewalks, driveways, and foundations. Ensure that the concrete is level and smooth.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to determine project specifications and layout.
- Site Preparation: Clean and inspect surfaces before pouring concrete, ensuring they are free of debris and ready for work.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment, participating in job safety analyses as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or related fields with a focus on concrete work.
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques is a plus.
- Experience with Commercial Concrete - Tilt-up, Structural, Industrial
- Strong skills in concrete forming, finishing, pumping, and welding are advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
