Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician - II to join our manufacturing facility team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation and optimal performance of our production equipment and facility systems. Your expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems, and troubleshooting will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, HVAC systems, and precision measuring instruments, contributing directly to our manufacturing excellence.
Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure equipment accuracy.
- Conduct repairs involving welding (including welding), HVAC/R systems, high voltage electrical components, and low voltage circuits.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management.
- Assist with field service activities, including working on scissor lifts or other elevated platforms safely to access hard-to-reach areas.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize equipment uptime and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously while working with high voltage systems or in hazardous environments to ensure a safe workplace for all team members.
Qualifications
* Strong Mechanical repair/troubleshooting and metal)
* mechanical components ( valves, pipes, fitfings, bearings, motors, gearboxes,)
- Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of industrial electricians' practices, schematics reading, and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems; familiarity with ammeters and ohmmeters is essential.
- Skilled in welding techniques specific to <LOCATION> welding standards; experience in mechanical repairs is required.
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues quickly and accurately.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively in English across diverse teams.
- Background in industrial maintenance or industrial electrician roles; military experience is a plus for discipline and technical training.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals confidently; experience with CMMS software is preferred.
