Job Summary
Position: Machine Operator (Weekend Shift)
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection of molded medical components.
- Identify common molding defects, including:
- Short shots
- Sink marks
- Silver streaks
- Flow lines
- Pin marks
- Oil marks
- Flash
- Color variation
- Contamination/impurities
- Scratches
- Drag marks
- Air bubbles
- Perform simple trimming and rework using hand tools such as utility knives and cutters.
- Package finished products according to work instructions.
- Correctly identify, label, and segregate parts.
- Accurately record production and inspection data.
- Maintain a clean work area and follow all quality and safety procedures.
Duties
- No previous manufacturing experience is required—we provide all necessary training.
- Previous experience as a molding operator or process technician is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work scheduled weekend shifts.
- Must be willing to wear cleanroom attire, including hair nets, beard nets (if applicable), gloves, and other required PPE.
- Ability to read and write in English.
Schedule
- Weekend Shift:
- Days: Saturday & Sunday
This position is typically 24 hours per week. For candidates interested in working a full-time schedule, there may be an opportunity to work one additional weekday to reach approximately 40 hours per week. This can be discussed during the interview process.
Compensation
