Who are we?
S.A.M Singapore Math of Montgomery is an established learning center that provides math and English enrichment program to students from age 4-14 years old. As the largest Singapore Math enrichment program in the world, S.A.M’s multi-award-winning Singapore Math enrichment program has served students in more than 200 centers in 20+countries. S.A.M is widely recognized as a leader in math education and has won numerous awards from international business associations and parenting resources.
Our unique Mathematics curriculum is modelled after the Singapore Mathematics pedagogy that develops critically important problem-solving skills through mathematics. The program is designed for students aged 4 to 14 years old.
The S.A.E Phonics and English program helps students to read fluently, write confidently and achieve competence.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a part-time Assistant Director who is energetic and passionate about making a difference in children’s education and life. We provide training, ongoing support and career advancement opportunity. We value our teachers and staff who are the cornerstone to achieve our mission.
The assistant director will manage the daily operation, engage with students and their families, maintains regular communication with the director, and contributes to the effective operation of the whole center.
Center hours:
· Tuesday and Wednesday 3:45-7:45 pm
· Saturday 8:45 am-12:15 pm

Primary duties:
Operation
· Oversee daily operations of the center, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
· Make sure students attend the assigned classes and no children leave the center without a guardian
· Make and update weekly schedule, reschedule make up classes, keep track of student attendance
· Answer emails and phones
· Open and close the center
· Ensure the center has a fun, clean and safe learning environment
Sales/Marketing and Customer Retention
· Conduct new student assessment, consultation and registration
· Engage with children and families in the center and answer parents' questions
· Organize center events to build community and increase enrollment and retention rate
· Identify and attend community events to promote the center
· Send monthly newsletter
Teaching and Curriculum
· Teach Math/English classes as needed
· Download and print student materials
· Plan weekly lessons for students
Staff Management
· Train new trainers and staff
· Manage and mentor the trainers, assistants and interns.
· Make sure the team needs are met and create a motivated environment.
Other tasks assigned by the Director
Report daily or weekly to the Director
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in education, business or related field
· Excellent grasp of PreK-7th grade school mathematics and English foundations.
· Experienced and love working with children from age 4-14 years old
· Experience in business operations, sales, marketing, community building and team management
· Proven management and leadership skills
· Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
· Good organization and multitasking skills, detailed oriented and a good team player
· Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, can think on the fly,
· Tech savvy, familiar with technology, laptop, ipads, apps, Google forms, Google sheets, email, social media, office equipment
· Authorization to work in U.S.
