American Traveler is hiring a school-based Occupational Therapist for a middle school setting, requiring an active Illinois OT license issued by IDFPR.

On-site position at two middle schools within a school district

Float role supporting multiple school buildings

Day shift schedule Monday through Friday, 7:45am-3:15pm
-
7.5 hour work day with a 30 minute unpaid lunch

35 billable hours per week

Assignment runs through the end of the school year

Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license issued by IDFPR

License required if applicable

CPS fingerprinting and CANTS background checks required, with clearance results needed prior to start date

Work as part of a collaborative team of eight Occupational Therapists supporting the school district

Serve on middle school building-level teams to conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for special education eligibility determinations

Provide MTSS and IEP support to students

Collaborate with school teams to promote generalization of skills across educational settings
