Description:
GSF Properties Inc. is seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic property management team in Bakersfield, CA.
In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day leasing and marketing activities, including apartment tours, move-ins, and lease renewals. You will provide exceptional customer service to prospects and residents while supporting occupancy goals and maximizing rental revenue.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and Saturday (10:00 AM–2:00 PM) – 36 hours per week
Compensation: $18.00–$19.00 per hour
Requirement: Must be available to work Saturdays
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Manager and Area Manager to support day-to-day operations

Engage with prospective and current residents to drive occupancy and retention goals

Manage leasing activity, including conducting tours, qualifying prospects, and following up on leads

Prepare lease agreements and complete all move-in documentation and procedures

Maintain accurate records and ensure model units, tour paths, and community amenities meet company standards

Provide exceptional customer service to both prospective and current residents

Support marketing efforts by maintaining promotional materials, online listings, and reporting

Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and referral partners
-
Stay informed on local market trends, community events, and competitor properties

Follow direction and guidance from your manager to achieve team goals

Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred
