ABA SupervisorLocation: On-site (Opportunity for occasional hybrid work or flex hours)

The Talcott Center for Child Development is seeking an organized, hands-on ABA Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of our ABA therapy team in our rapidly growing Comprehensive Autism Program (ages 2-6). We take a multidisciplinary, team-based approach to helping each child reach their full potential in a clinic setting.This role bridges clinical quality, staff management, and family communication. We ensure clients receive consistent, high-quality care while supporting the growth and development of our ABA Therapists & RBTs. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing schedules and documentation systems as well as coaching therapists in vivo.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight & Supervision
- Complete in vivo and 1:1 supervision sessions with ABA therapists/RBTs
- Complete regular audits of session notes for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Collaborate with BCBAs, OTs, PTs, and SLPs to coordinate client care
- Provide client coverage as needed when staff are unavailable
- Participate in weekly/as needed ABA Supervisor team meetings
Staff Management
- Build and manage staff schedules, including shift outs and coverage
- Onboard new staff and manage staff changes/transitions
- Review & approve weekly time cards via Paychex Flex
- Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to ABA therapists/RBTs
- Lead monthly staff meetings for the entire ABA team
- Complete disciplinary actions as needed and process staff terminations in accordance with company policy
- Support recruitment efforts, including job fairs, Indeed postings, and other outreach to build a strong pipeline of ABA talent
- Support therapists as needed with day-to-day questions and challenges
Administrative & Family Communication
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Central Reach
- Communicate with families via ClassDojo, email, and in person
- Refer staff and parents to the appropriate point of contact for their needs
- Communicate and work alongside co-supervisor and administrative team
Qualifications
- Prior experience in an ABA therapy or clinical setting required
- Experience supervising or managing staff
- Familiarity with Central Reach or similar practice management software
- BCBA, BCaBA, or RBT credential preferred (or working toward certification)
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing schedules, documentation, and audits
- Excellent interpersonal skills for working with families, staff, and multidisciplinary partners
- Highly reliable with attendance and follow-through; comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Tech savvy with Microsoft Outlook, Office, and Teams, and comfortable juggling multi-modal communication
