POSITION SUMMARY
As the Restoration Sales Estimator, you will lead and oversee restoration and remodeling scopes of work from inspection through the estimating phase into contract execution. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will develop project plans, budgets, and utilize Xactimate software for estimating projects and developing approved scopes of work. Your role includes hands-on contributions to understanding and documenting complex repairs, leadership of project teams, and the maintenance of meticulous project documentation. OBJECTIVES
● Relationship management with referring strategic partners.
● Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to guarantee the overall success of each project.
● Develop comprehensive project plans, scopes of work, and targets to guide the successful execution of restoration projects.
● Monitor and track project progress, ensuring that all referring relationships are nurtured and maintained
● Utilize industry standard Xactimate software for accurate and efficient estimating and sales process.
● Estimate complex repairs, including but not limited to flooring and painting, and structural repairs contributing to the overall success of restoration projects.
● Demonstrate effective leadership and management skills to lead project teams and ensure a collaborative and productive work environment.
● Conduct initial site visits to meet with clients, arrange for vendors to meet and provide pricing and fully execute the estimates and scope of work to follow.
● Maintain accurate project documentation and records to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
● Clearly communicating goals to all relevant parties.
COMPETENCIES
● Proven experience as a Restoration Project Manager or similar role within the restoration industry.
● Proficiency in Xactimate software for estimating and project management.
● Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
● Relationship management with parties able to refer opportunities.
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
● Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● High school diploma or equivalent is required.
● A minimum of 3 years of estimating experience is required
● Proficiency in Xactimate software is required
● Familiarity with Restoration Management is preferred.
● Adaptability, forward-thinking, creativity, and strong willingness to learn are highly valued qualities in candidates for this position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
● The role may require standing, walking, or being on-site for extended periods. Candidates should be physically fit to handle the demands of an active construction or restoration environment.
● Ability to lift and carry equipment or materials as needed, which may occasionally be heavy or bulky.
● Some projects may involve climbing ladders, scaffolding, or working at elevated heights. Candidates should be comfortable and capable of doing so safely.
● The job may require working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, or snow. Candidates should be prepared for exposure to the elements.
● Strict adherence to safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety goggles, and gloves, is essential.
● A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle may be required for site visits or travel between project locations.
● The role may involve exposure to dust, chemicals, and loud noises. Candidates should be able to work in such environments safely.
