About the Role:
East N West Animal Hospital is hiring for technician assistant. At East n West we provide quality care to our patients with a blend of eastern and western practice. This position involves assisting the doctors and your coworkers in providing excellent care to our clients and patients. At East n West we work as a team, so ability to multitask and work in all area of a veterinary office our required.

At least 1 year experience in the veterinary field is required

Experience or training in animal handling and basic veterinary procedures.

Ability to perform phlebotomy (drawing blood) on animals safely and effectively.

Familiarity with medical instruments and clinical support tasks.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with lab sample setup and reading

Proficiency in Avimark

Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility.

Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
Responsibilities:
-
Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal handling and restraint during examinations and procedures.

Assist Veterinarians in rooms
-
Perform routine clinical tasks such as drawing blood, preparing animals for surgery, placing IV catheters, cytology prep, giving SQ/IM and IV injections

Maintain and sterilize medical instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.

Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling phone inquiries.

Must be able to stand on feet for extended period of time

Must be able to lift 40lbs
