PROFESSIONAL INFANT NANNY
Long-Term | Monday–Thursday
A warm first-time family is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and highly reliable professional nanny for their 11-week-old infant. The family’s priority is finding an exceptional long-term fit with substantial infant experience who can grow with their child from infancy into toddlerhood.
POSITION DETAILS
Start Date: September 8, 2026 or as soon as they find the right fit
Schedule: Monday–Thursday
Hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: Approximately 32 hours/week
Compensation: $35–$40/hour, flexible for an exceptional candidate
Commitment: Long-term, 1+ years
One parent works from home.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate infant care
Bottle feeding, burping, diapering, soothing, and supporting naps
Tummy time, developmental play, reading, singing, and age-appropriate engagement
Support consistent routines and developmental milestones
Wash and sanitize bottles and pump parts
Baby laundry and organization of nursery/play areas
Prepare baby food when developmentally appropriate
Maintain clear communication with parents regarding the baby's day and development
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The family is seeking a warm, calm, patient, attentive, reliable, and organized career nanny who genuinely enjoys caring for babies.
Infant Experience: Significant professional newborn/young infant experience is required, including confidence with bottles, naps, soothing, developmental play, infant cues, and age-appropriate routines.
Education: College education is a plus. Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Newborn Care, Nursing, or similar training is highly valued, but strong professional infant experience is more important.
Approach: The ideal nanny is proactive and knowledgeable while remaining respectful of the parents' preferences and routines. The family values good judgment, flexibility, and a collaborative approach rather than someone overly rigid in their caregiving style.
QUALIFICATIONS
Infant CPR & First Aid certified or willing to obtain before starting
Non-smoker
Reliable transportation and clean driving record
Comfortable around a swimming pool; swimming ability preferred
Comfortable with household pets (two friendly cats)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong professional references and background screening
Interested in a long-term position and growing with the family.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
