Position Summary
The Regional MDS Coordinator serves as a clinical and reimbursement resource for multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities, providing oversight, education, auditing, and support to facility leadership teams. This role is responsible for ensuring MDS accuracy, regulatory compliance, optimal reimbursement, and quality clinical outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Current or recent Regional MDS experience overseeing multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities.
- Strong knowledge of PDPM, MDS 3.0, Quality Measures, Medicare reimbursement, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience conducting audits, training staff, and improving reimbursement outcomes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to facilities throughout North Carolina
