Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas within the hotel. Your commitment to providing exceptional hospitality will ensure a welcoming environment for our guests.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring that all items are fresh and clean.
- Restock room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and other amenities.
- Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms to uphold hotel standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure a consistent level of cleanliness.
- Assist in laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning techniques, and floor care is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.
- Must be physically capable of performing the duties required, including lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods.
