We are seeking a passionate and talented FULL TIME MASTER COSMETOLOGIST with ESTABLISHED Clientele to join our vibrant salon team! This busy energetic role offers the opportunity to showcase your expertise in hair styling, coloring, and grooming while providing exceptional customer service. Located in a booming location with lots of walk-ins daily that become lifelong clients. Under new ownership with ample support such as advertising, marketing and elevating the salon in coming months with a fresh new look!! As a key member of our team, you'll bring creativity, professionalism, and enthusiasm to every client interaction, helping clients look and feel their best. Your mastery of various beauty techniques combined with your friendly demeanor will create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps clients coming back. This is a full-time position designed for motivated professionals eager to grow their career in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert hair styling, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
- Perform advanced techniques
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in accordance with industry regulations
- Utilize salon software systems for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking
- Educate clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail options to enhance their experience
- Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, check-in/check-out procedures, and appointment confirmations
- Assist in salon duties to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Valid state cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of hair theory and current trends
- Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and advanced techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively consult with clients and collaborate with team members
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices within a professional salon environment
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing excellent customer service
