Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with the ability to work with various materials and precision instruments.
This role is crucial for producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications and tolerances.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe and milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Interpret and read blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls and CAM programming software.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions.
- Maintain tooling and perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist.
- Proficiency in CNC programming, CAM programming, and blueprint reading.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining various materials including plastics for injection molding.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and techniques.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Additional Requirements:
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Background check may be required.
- This position includes a 90-day probationary period to assess performance, attendance, and overall fit.
- Full-time benefits typically begin after successful completion of this period.
