Job Summary
We're looking for someone who wants to work and learn a trade. Candidate must have good attendance, be on time, self-motivated and be willing to learn. For the person who wants to learn and can take responsibility there is room for major growth inside this company. Pay will be dependent on experience and candidate will be eligible for raises over time, as earned. Pay Starts at $20. per hour and will go up with the knowledge you retain and tasks you are able to perform on your own.
Duties
- Pour concrete footing, walls and flat work
- Frame buildings, decks and other structures with wood or steel framing
- Install siding, soffit, facia, roofing materials
- Hang drywall
- Install interior and exterior doors widows and trim
- Finish carpentry such as cabinets and trim
Requirements
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required—will train the right candidate.
- Proficiency in using basic construction tools such as a hammer, power tools, and a tape measure
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for long periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Valid driver's license with reliable form of transportation to main hub in Nappanee
