Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Handle chemical agents safely following established safety protocols and handling procedures
- Conduct sanitation tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Follow safety guidelines during heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to prevent injuries
- Support facilities maintenance activities by ensuring all cleaning tools are properly stored and maintained
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or industrial environments
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and custodial equipment operation
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely according to safety protocol guidelines
- Strong manual handling skills with an understanding of safe lifting practices for heavy objects or equipment
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed
- Experience with industrial cleaning methods and custodial maintenance tasks is preferred
- Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols and facility policies at all times
