Responsibilities for the automotive transmission technician include:
· Remove and install transmissions according to factory specifications
· Identify transmissions and torque converters
· Flush transmission coolers and verify proper flow
· Inspect ground straps, flywheel condition, and dowel pins
· Perform final inspections to ensure all procedures are completed correctly and safely for the customer, vehicle, and transmission
Preferred qualifications of the technician:
· 1+ years of experience as a shop technician
· Ability to remove and replace (R&R) transmissions
