As a Barista/Bartender, you play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences through genuine hospitality, exceptional beverage preparation, and teamwork. You will prepare and serve espresso beverages, cocktails, wine, and beer while helping guests feel welcomed and cared for throughout their visit.

Essential Job Duties
- Demonstrate a guest-first attitude and embody Tutta Bella's mission, values, and culture.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and serve espresso beverages, cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to Tutta Bella recipes and standards.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of beverage offerings, seasonal features, and menu items.
- Accurately enter orders and process guest payments using the POS system.
- Deliver responsible alcohol service and maintain compliance with all applicable liquor laws.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready bar and café environment.
- Follow all opening, closing, cleaning, and cash-handling procedures.
- Address guest concerns professionally with the goal of creating loyal, returning guests.
- Work collaboratively with servers, cooks, managers, and support staff to deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Follow all federal, state, and local food safety, workplace safety, and employment regulations.
- Uphold all Tutta Bella policies, procedures, and service standards.
Additional Responsibilities
- Share knowledge of Neapolitan pizza traditions and menu offerings with guests.
- Support training and onboarding of new team members.
- Assist with inventory counts and product organization.
- Complete housekeeping duties, including cleaning guest areas, restrooms, service stations, and bar equipment.
- Communicate operational concerns and opportunities to management.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and respectful team environment.
- Respond to challenges and setbacks with professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, café, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Previous espresso beverage experience preferred.
- Strong guest service and hospitality skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and retain beverage recipes, menu knowledge, and service standards.
- Current Washington State MAST Permit.
- Current Washington State Food Worker Card.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a shift.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, crouch, and lift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Ability to safely move and assist with the replacement of beer kegs using proper equipment and team lifting procedures.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements associated with beverage preparation and POS use.
- Ability to handle and taste products containing alcohol.
Working Conditions
- Availability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
- Work is performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Frequent exposure to hot equipment, espresso machines, ovens, cleaning chemicals, glassware, and other restaurant equipment.
- Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and attention to detail.
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and managers and complete required training.
- Must maintain all required permits and certifications throughout employment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
